After yesterday’s announcement on Alexander “Alteks” Givskov having a position on Astralis’ main team moving from the Astralis Talent roster, the fans from the Danish team were eager to know who will the youngster replace.

As Alexander “Altekz” Givskov has been included in the main roster for the coming period, Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth has agreed to help the talent team.

After seeing the poor results from the main team in recent tournaments, not being able to qualify for the Major 2 years in a row, and the underperformance from some of the players, the Director of Sports of Astralis, Kasper Hvidt, decided that it was time to give Alexander “Alteks” Givskov a chance to prove himself on the main team.

“I am still super disappointed that we missed

the qualification for the Major. That was my

goal and everyone’s ambition.”

“I know there will be a lot of speculation, but

for me, it’s about being a team player so we

can lift the results together.”

On the other hand, it was very much needed as the results on the main team weren’t arriving after some stumbling times and multiple roster changes in the last months. This is another attempt on taking a step in the right direction, and the fans seem to agree with this roster move.
