New NA’VI’s roster will debut today at the BLAST Fall Groups Day 2.

Day 2 of the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023, and for me, the most exciting one in Tier 1 Counter-Strike in a while. Yesterday we got 2 good games, but today I feel more excited to see some of the new rosters. You definitely don’t want to miss!

Games scheduled for today

Today we have 3 amazing games:

  1. Heroic vs BIG – 12:00 CEST
  2. NAVI vs Astralis – 15:00 CEST
  3. FaZe vs OG – 18:30 CEST

Predictions for the BLAST Fall Groups Day 2

It will be really hard to make predictions at this early stage of the tournament, as there have been a lot of structural changes on teams. I have to say that the predictions for the teams that made big changes to their lineup are based on the team’s individual players’ form, as I do not have any record to make an analysis.

  1. Heroic will defeat BIG.
    • BIG only made an important change, adding the pole Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski, which means the team will be calling in English. BIG has been calling in German for years, and the communication can be weak. On the other hand, Heroic is the good old Dane roster. I think it will be a good game for Heroic.
  2. NAVI will win against Astralis.
    • NAVI made one of the biggest changes, going international. I think that they may struggle with communication, but I think that player by player the firepower is higher on NAVI’s side. Astralis added Victor “Staehr” Staehr and Johannes “b0RUP” Borup, two Danes that are coming to reinforce the Astralis roster that was not performing well in previous months. I think the team is looking really good, but NAVI has a stronger roster.
  3. FaZe will win against OG.
    • FaZe did not make any changes regarding the players, but recently, the team announced the departure of their coach Robert “RobbaN” Dahlström. I don’t think this will affect the team in the short term, and I see them stronger and more stable than the actual OG, who changed 3 players adding Iulian “regali” Harjău, Dion “FASHR” Derksen and Nils “k1to” Gruhne. On paper, this has to be an easy game for FaZe.
