ESL Pro League 18 Kick off

The return of Tier 1 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is here, after a couple of weeks off. The ESL ProLeague Season 18 is the tournament that will let us enjoy more CS: GO before Counter Strike 2 arrives.

A prize pool of $850,000, where the first place out of the 36 teams participating will not only win the amount of $90,000 but also a spot on IEM Katowice 2024 and the BLAST Premier World Final 2023, so there’s a lot in the line. Also, check out our previous CSGO posts.

What games will we see on the ESL ProLeague Season 18 Kick-off day?

  1. FURIA vs Movistar Riders
  2. Grayhound vs GamerLegion
  3. Astralis vs NIP
  4. Vitality vs ORKS

  1. FURIA will defeat Movistar Riders.
    • It is true that FURIA has been struggling after their recent roster changes, but I think they already had enough time to figure everything out. On top of that, MRS aren’t in their best moment, so I predict a 2-0 win for the Brazilians.
  2. GamerLegion will win against GamerLegion.
    • Grayhound was one of the few teams that kept their roster in the previous roster-mania, but GL looked strong in their last appearances. I think this won’t be an easy game for GL, but they will take the win 2-1.
  3. Astralis will defeat Ninjas in Pyjamas.
    • Astralis made a really strong tournament in Cologne, where they demonstrated the potential of the team. I see NIP as a tough opponent who will make things complicated, but in the end, I predict a 2-1 for the Danes.
  4. Vitality will defeat ORKS.
    • There’s no weak opponent, but this time the luck wasn’t on ORKS’s side. If I had to bet, I would make a **REALLY BOLD** one on ORKS taking a map, but on paper, this should be an easy 2-0 for Vitality. I don’t see impossible a 2-1 result, and ORKS fighting for a historical upset.

Where to watch the games?
