VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Masters Tokyo Day 3 is here! What happened yesterday on Day 2 was fantastic games, intense rounds, and having the first team qualified for the Playoffs Stage! Let’s see what we should expect for Day 3!

What team was the first one qualified to the Playoffs Stage?

  • Evil Geniuses
    • The North American organization took down DRX 2-0 in a really entertaining match. Demon1, jawgemo, and Boostio performed amazingly well, and DRX made a lot of mistakes that EG took advantage of.

How are the Groups looking for Masters Tokyo Day 3?

Games scheduled for today

  1. NRG vs T1 – The winner qualifies for Playoffs, and the loser gets a last chance in the lower bracket.
  2. Attacking Soul Esports vs FUT Esports – Loser gets eliminated, and the winner plays the decider game against DRX.
  3. Natus Vincere vs EDward Gaming – Loser gets eliminated, and the winner advance to the decider game of Group A.

Predictions for the VALORANT Masters Tokyo Day 3

  1. NRG will win against T1. We saw NRG performing well against NAVI, even tho the European roster managed to take the second map in overtime, NRG was the strongest team. T1 struggled against EDward Gaming, and in my opinion, NRG is way stronger than EDG right now. I would consider it very rare even watching 3 maps here, as I predict a solid win from the North American team.
  2. FUT Esports will win against Attacking Soul Esports. The Turkish team has been competing against the most strong teams in the world. Attacking Soul Esports is a great team don’t get me wrong, but they have been competing in a league that is inferior in competition. FUT Esports have better players individually, and they wouldn’t have issues against the Chinese roster.
  3. EDward Gaming will win against Natus Vincere. I expect this match-up to be really close and I really expect 3 maps. In their most recent match against T1, the duelist Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang ended the series with a score of 71-48 (+23), and Zhang “Smoggy” Zhao did 61-44 (+17). The European roster is not on its best streak, sitting on a 2-games losing streak. NAVI’s individuals didn’t show up as expected, as the duelist Turkish superstar, Mehmet “cNed” Yağız Ä°pek, ended even in the series when his team needed the most. The underdog, EDG, will win.
