Masters Tokyo Lower Round 2.
Every time we have elimination games, there is a different tension in the air, and this won’t be the exception. VALORANT Champions Tour: Masters Tokyo is slowly coming to its end. Today we have two elimination games, where the best teams in the world will fight for one more chance. So far we are doing great in our predictions, so let’s see if we can keep up the good streak! Check out our previous posts about the Masters Tokyo.
What games will we see today at the Masters Tokyo Lower Round 2?
- NRG Esports will end Team Liquid’s run, eliminating them.
- NRG Esports have been performing on a really high level so far in Tokyo. I think they were unlucky to face FNATIC, and that’s why they are in the Lower Bracket. Even tho they sometimes look kinda shaky, and the Latvian Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks is not at his peak when playing agents that are not Jett, the other players on the roster have been improving a lot, making the team look deadly. Team Liquid, the #1 team in EMEA, has been really inconsistent in this tournament. We have seen some very risky (and maybe nonsense) plays out of the Russian IGL Igor “Redgar” Vlaslov that ended up losing important rounds. Countless rounds where Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin was left in a 1vx situation. I think it will be close but the North American team will win 2-1.
- EDward Gaming will continue the Cinderella run, eliminating the #1 Pacific team. [BOLD PREDICTION]
- This might be a weird take, but I think that EDG, in its current form, is stronger than PRX in its current form. In their last game against FNATIC, we saw nothing from any player of PRX besides Wang “Jinggg” Jing Jie. The changes in roles that PRX did after “something” arrived on the team is not working without him, and it has been clear how some players are not comfortable. On the other side, we have a super motivated EDG, who are feeling stronger than ever. EDG will win 2-0 against PRX, and call me crazy if you want.
-Our predictions win rate so far at the VALORANT Champions Tour: Masters Tokyo 2023 is 76.92%. **
