Masters Tokyo Day 10

Today we will have our first Grand Finalist

Yesterday we had some amazing games at the VALORANT Champions Tour: Masters Tokyo 2023. EDG, one of my favorite teams, was eliminated. Also, the #1 EMEA team, Team Liquid, was sent back home courtesy of NRG. I am sure that Day 10 will deliver two awesome games and a lot of emotions! Check our Masters Tokyo Predictions Spreadsheet to see our 70% win rate.

What games will we see today at Masters Tokyo Day 10?

  1. FNATIC vs Evil Geniuses – The winner goes to Grand Final, and the loser goes to Lower Final.
  2. NRG Esports vs Paper Rex – The winner gets to the Lower Final, and the loser is out.

Predictions

  1. FNATIC will end Evil Geniuses’ winning streak.
    • EG has been performing amazingly in this tournament, every single player on the team has been crucial in any of the wins they have achieved so far in Tokyo. I would say that EG is one of the favorite teams to win, but they are not on FNATIC’s level. FNATIC has been demonstrating consistency at the highest level for months now, also innovating and improving its game style. I think FNATIC will avoid EG’s Fracture, which is normal. It will be a close series but FNATIC will take it way from EG.
  2. NRG Esports will win against Paper Rex.
    • NRG is looking deadly, after sending home the actual #1 EMEA seeding, Team Liquid, I see them strong enough to defeat an already stumbling Paper Rex. Yesterday via Twitter, “something” communicated that he won’t be able to assist to the Masters Tokyo, no matter the stage of the tournament. This puts PPRX in a complicated spot, as they will have to continue with a sub that is not even close to providing what “something” is able to. I believe that NRG will win against PPRX, with a close game and another where the NA team will dominate.

-Our predictions win rate so far at the VALORANT Champions Tour: Masters Tokyo 2023 is 70%. **
