Counter-Strike roster changes are coming slowly but surely. We are in the Mid-Season Counter-Strike roster changes, where teams are going to rebuild some rosters, try new things, and give us the spectators a few surprises. This post will be updated every time we have a *confirmed* roster change in any Tier 1 team. Check out our other CS articles here!

Counter-Strike roster changes: Mid season team shuffles.



  • The Danish team announced the following changes:
    • Nicolai “⁠HUNDEN⁠” Petersen parted ways with Astralis.
    • Lukas ⁠gla1ve⁠ Rossander → bench.
    • Andreas “⁠Xyp9x⁠ Højsleth → bench.
    • Alexander “⁠Altekz⁠ Givskov sent back to Astralis Talent.
    •  Victor ⁠Staehr⁠” Staehr join Astralis.
    • Johannes “⁠b0RUP⁠” Borup join Astralis.

The roster of the Danish team will look like this:

Team Vitality

  • The French org made changes after winning the last major:
    • Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen was moved out of the active roster.
    • Shahar “flameZ” Shushan join Team Vitality.

Team Liquid

  • After the departure of Captain America Nick “nitr0” Cannella, the team was soon to announce replacements, and these are the changes.
    • Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski parted ways with Team Liquid after 8 years.
    • Robert “Patsi” Isyanov join Team Liquid.
    • Aleks “Rainwaker” Petrov join Team Liquid.

Natus Vincere

  • The Ukrainian organization ended the rumors of the team going international after announcing their new roster for the following season and potentially getting ready for CS2. These are the changes, and the future of the removed players is unclear, as the organization :
    • Denis “electroNic” Sharipov was removed from the roster.
    • Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy was removed from the roster.
    • Andrii “npl” Kukharskyi was removed from the roster.
    • Aleksi Aleksib” Virolainen joined NAVI.
    • Justinas jL Lekavicius joined NAVI.
    • Mihai iMIvan joined NAVI.
  • The roster ended up like this:
    • uaOleksandr s1mple Kostyliev
    • uaValerii b1t” Vakhovskyi
    • fiAleksi Aleksib” Virolainen
    • ltJustinas jL Lekavicius
    • roMihai iMIvan
    • uaAndrii B1ad3” Gorodenskyi (coach)


  • The Brazilians are aiming to be the strongest in their country, after adding two very strong players from Imperial to their roster. These was the moves FURIA did:
    •  André “⁠drop⁠ Abreu parted ways with FURIA.
    • Rafael “⁠saffee⁠ Costa parted ways with FURIA.
    • Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo joined FURIA.
    • Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes joined FURIA.
      • FURIA‘s active roster is now:
      • Brazil Flag Andrei “⁠arT⁠” Piovezan


  • After the announcement of Christopher “dexter” Nong being moved to the bench, it was just a matter of time for MOUX to announce the IGL who was taking the place of dexter. And these are the changes:
    • Christopher “dexter” Nong was moved to the bench.
    • Kamil ⁠siuhy⁠ Szkaradek joined MOUZ.
